BACKGROUND & SERVICE TO OUR SCHOOL

I have had the privilege of working at Neville High School for over 17 years as of 2019. I have my Masters' +30 degree in English Literature and Creative Writing, my teacher's certification in English, and a Specialist's degree in Gifted Education. I am delighted to work for Neville High School teaching English II Pre-AP and Gifted as well as serving as the Advisor for The Neville High School Tradition, Neville's own award-winning student newspaper.

Service to our school includes work on the SBLC (School Building Leveling Committee) and acting as Teacher Leader for three years at Neville when the Common Core was first introduced to Louisiana Schools. I also serve on the Renaissance academic awards program committee and assist with two judges' panels for annual writing contests sponsored by The Rotary Club and the Neville Alumni and Friends Association.

I do my best to teach the classes I would want my own children to attend. Please contact me with any questions!
