ABOUT ME, AB
OUT OUR CLASSES:

 I am proud to teach
English II Pre-AP and Gifted at Neville High School. My background includes a Masters + 30 in English Liberal Arts, Gifted Certification, and publication of contemporary writing. I also serve on the Renaissance academic awards program committee and coach our Newspaper staff for The Neville Tradition, Neville's own student-run newspaper.

Below is some essential information about expectations for English II Pre-AP & Gifted, and on the left of this page you will find a lot of material related to our class, literature, and testing.

If you are interested in the newspaper, The Neville High School Tradition, please click on the "Media Arts (Journalism)" page.  Currently, we are not accepting Freshmen for our newspaper staff. However, ALL students are welcome and encouraged to write for our paper! We welcome original student news writing, creative writing, and black & white artwork.  Please visit our paper and read about guest submissions. Contact me at the email below with questions.

ABOUT ENGLISH II

When classes are in session, click to visit my "This Week" page for day-by-day descriptors of class activities and homework tasks.  This year (2018) I will be relying heavily on the Louisiana State Board of Education's Learn Zillion lesson plans to ensure that every student entering my class is provided with quality material that should align with other teachers' classes across the district, focus on Louisiana Student Standards, and ensure success on end-of-year cumulative tests.

For more information about class guides, grades, and expectations, please visit my "English II Class Guide" pages. Thanks!
