HOW TO REQUEST A COLLEGE TRANSCRIPT (click below):
A variety of dual enrollment opportunities are offered for students through Louisiana Delta Community College and the University of Louisiana at Monroe. Some courses are taught on campus by high school teachers who are credentialed to teach at the college level. Other courses are provided through online and on the college campuses. Course offerings vary each semester. Students and parents should contact Mrs. Stewart for more information.
Depending on the nature of the college program, dual enrollment courses may have minimum requirements for grade point average and ACT scores. In general, academic courses which will transfer among most four-year universities require a composite ACT score of 18 with English and math subscores of 18 and 19, respectively. Parents and students should be aware that not all dual enrollment coursework transfers universally to other institutions or are accepted in all degree programs. The counselors and dual enrollment coordinators work hard to stay abreast of changes to post-secondary programs but parents and students should contact colleges and universities of interest to inquire about specific policies and procedures for transfer credit.
Course selection, eligibility, fees, and other requirements tend to vary from school year to school year. Application Deadlines and Payments are not flexible. Any restrictions are based on college policy.
