from Message Regarding Labor Legislation (March 25, 1908)
by Theodore Roosevelt
I call your attention to certain measures as to which I think there should be action by the Congress before the close of the present session. There is ample time for their consideration. As regards most if not all of the matters, bills have been introduced into one or the other of the two Houses, and it is not too much to hope that action will be taken one way or the other on these bills at the present session. In my message at the opening of the present session, and, indeed, in various messages to previous Congresses, I have repeatedly suggested action on most of these measures.
Child labor should be prohibited throughout the Nation. At least a model child-labor bill should be passed for the District of Columbia. It is unfortunate that in the one place solely dependent upon Congress for its legislation there should be no law whatever to protect children by forbidding or regulating their labor.
I renew my recommendation for the immediate reenactment of an employers' liability law, drawn to conform to the recent decision of the Supreme Court. Within the limits indicated by the court, the law should be made through and comprehensive, and the protection it affords should embrace every class of employee to which the power of the Congress can extend.
In addition to a liability law protecting the employees of common carriers, the Government should show its good faith by enacting a further law giving compensation to its own employees for injury or death incurred1 in its service. It is a reproach to us as a Nation that in both Federal and State legislation we have afforded less protection to public and private employees than any other industrial country of the world.
I also urge that action be taken along the line of the recommendations I have already made concerning injunctions2 in labor disputes. No temporary restraining order should be issued by any court without notice; and the petition for a permanent injunction upon which such temporary restraining order has been issued should be heard by the court issuing the same within a reasonable time—say, not to exceed a week or thereabouts from the date when the order was issued.

Raphael says, "With the right key, you can bust the door wide open." Usually a key is used to open a door to let someone out. What could ‘busting the door open' represent for Raphael and Gardo? How are they trapped?
Answer:
"Busting the door open" means breaking out from the poverty stricken life the two boys are living.
They are trapped in this community where poverty reigns, and they had not much to live by.
Explanation:
Andy Mulligan's Trash is a story of two trash-boys living a life of poverty but still filled with hope and determination to change their livelihood. Raphael and Gardo are the two main characters who had gone to their usual waste picking grounds to sort out the trash and if lucky, get a "special" bag.
Chapter 2 of the novel shows them discovering the "special" bag made of leather, containing an id, money and a folded map with a key in it. By saying "busting the door open", Raphael meant to imply that a certain source or "key" is all it takes to be away from the life of poverty they are living. This means that they can have access to the better side of life if they had certain things. But with their current condition of living amidst the trash picking community, they are trapped in this world of poverty, without the means to escape.
The phrase 'busting the door open' could symbolize Raphael and Gardo's desire to break free from their current limitations or constraints.
Explanation:'Busting the door open' could well represent their quest for freedom or liberation from circumstances that are trapping them.
The phrase 'how are they trapped' suggests that Raphael and Gardo could be trapped either physically - in a literal sense - or metaphorically, within a societal structure or circumstance that limits their growth or potential.
For instance, they could be trapped in poverty, lack of education, a physically restrictive environment, etc. Hence, the 'key' to their freedom could be education, money, or an event that brings about a significant change in their life situation.

Studies of rough-skinned newts have documented their ability to produce toxins in defense against a predator attack. Answer- I think this pandemic will soon have a cure due to doctors already testing vaccines on patients and once we have a vaccine, everyone will be able to go back to their normal lives. My fears are that people who are still going outside unprotected and are not staying 6ft away from each other are going to make this situation worse than it already is. I see people outside my house not wearing any gloves or masks and are in other people’s faces like there’s nothing happening. The challenging thing about this is, staying inside and finding something else to do other than going outside. When it’s warm and the sun is out, I want to go outside. I miss going outside, going to school and seeing my friends. When people are hoarding food, I think it’s ridiculous. I understand that things are running out quicker than usual, but that doesn’t mean to fight over it and buy absurd amounts of that item. Due to this pandemic, I’m going to miss out on the 2020 Tokyo Olympics which is canceled until further notice. The theatrical release of Steven Universe: The Movie was canceled due to this pandemic. I’m binge-watching My Hero Academia and Steven Universe. My family is handling the situation well. My aunt is still working along with my mom. While my cousin and I stay home and watch our grandmother. The way that I’m organizing my time is during the weekdays, I wake up at six o’clock as I do would do when I’m getting ready for school. Once I get up, I get on my laptop or IPad and see what I have to do today and the next few days. After I do the work that’s due tomorrow, I begin to work on the work that’s due later in the week or a few weeks from now, so I don’t get over flooded with work. On the weekend, I double-check to see if I’ve done everything and if there’s nothing the teachers added so I can relax and enjoy my weekend. Yes, I am keeping a schedule. I get up at six o’clock to begin working on my classwork and homework until nine when I take a short break and eat breakfast. Then I get back to work for the rest of the day until I’m finished with all my work. The online classes are getting a little bit better for me. The teachers are slowing down on the work a bit so I can get everything done at a decent time.

Using third person allowed the author to show the actions of all of the characters, but not show the feelings or thoughts. Throughout the story, the reader must infer the emotions being portrayed by the characters through their diction and actions. For example, the handyman was not being sincere while talking about the flowers, but the reader would not know that until they read, " It's nice, just like you say. Only when you don't have no dinner, it ain't." and realizing the handyman is using Elisa for a free dinner. Using the third person allows the large amount of imagery to help narrate
Explanation:
Interestingly, the use of Third person narration style in English involves figuratively seeing through the eye of another individual not part of the story.
In most cases this person (usually the author) tries to add an emotional touch to the story and uses narrative pronoun such as "he, she, they" to narrate the actions of the characters.

Look over his lines carefully and tell what is revealed about Caesar's attitudes and beliefs through his own words? What is your impression of Caesar?
Answer:
The first impression we have of Caesar is formed in Act I through Casio's speeches. Cassius hates Caesar and is bothered by his rise to such great power in Rome. He describes Caesar in bitter and mocking words, showing his contempt. In the eyes of Cassius, Caesar does not justify the control he wields. Through two specific stories he tells, Cassius introduces Caesar as lacking courage and physical strength. Therefore, Caesar's first impression is that because he is weak, he is not in a position to rule Rome.
The famous character Brutus listens to other famous character Cassius, but offers no such criticism. His concern regarding the Caesar government is that it has gained too much power and may be a threat to freedom in Rome. His doubt immediately raises questions in the play regarding Caesar's nature and intentions. Looking for all the power? Do you want to become king in Rome? When Caesar subsequently rejects a symbolic crown offered by people three times, his actions are viewed skeptically by his critics, leaving this question regarding his character unsolved.
César's character is developed by César himself in the second scene of Act II. The night before the Ides of March, he seems sympathetic as he takes Calpurnia's anguish seriously. However, another side is revealed when he casts his feelings aside and decides to go to the Senate once he believes his absence will raise questions about his courage. He speaks of himself in the third person, vouching for his own courage.
Final answer:

Explanation:
Cicero's Attitude Towards Greeks: Cicero held a somewhat condescending attitude towards Greeks, portraying them as inferior in various aspects.
Reason for Different Presentation: Cicero's different way of presenting and talking about Greeks may stem from Roman societal norms and his perception of Greek culture.
Caesar's Attitudes and Beliefs: Through his own words, Caesar is revealed to have sought power, portrayed himself as a defender of the common people, and faced opposition from Romans wary of autocratic rule.
