Dear Mom,
I hope you and Dad are OK. I'm fine, but a little bit confused about something that I've found out. I'm sure you'll understand my feelings.
I'd always thought that I'd been a designed baby just like everyone else, but I've just been told that I was conceived in a natural way. I can't believe you never told me about it. Why would anyone become pregnant naturally when technology is so advanced that it can design perfect babies? Why did you make me in an ancient method? Why didn't you design me? I could have been more intelligent and better-looking than I am. I could have been taller, and had green eyes and an attractive body. Why didn't you give me the brain to become a doctor or an astronaut? I see myself like an ugly fool now.
I feel overwhelmed with this discovery. I'd have never imagined that you could have done something so old-fashioned and dangerous to humanity. If everybody conceived naturally without creating amazing people, what kind of world would we live in? It would be a place impossible to live in, full of unattractive, stupid people.
