(No hard feelings:D)

Most people like to be in a relationship because they want to feel loved. Especially for women. Woman know that guys aren’t always the most caring people in the world so when a guy shows a girl how much they care for them it mean the world to them. It shows that they are willing to give up the way they think in the world just to show them how much. Girls will see that and appreciate it. That’s why I’m a lot of romance movies woman see men being vulnerable and they want that so they seek it. I can’t really speak for men because I am not one, but I know for a fact that everyone just want to feel love in their life. That’s why 90% percent of people prefer to be in a relationship then be single.

A heterozygous individual has a _____ for a trait being studied.
a. haploid condition, in genetic terms
b. pair of identical alleles
c. pair of nonidentical alleles

Answers

The correct answer is c. A heterozygous individual has a pair of nonidentical allele for a trait being studied.
Because humans are diploid, they have two matching sets of chromosomes and the same locus gene on each of their two sets of homologous chromosomes (exception in males, because they have XY chromosomes). If alleles (a variant form of a given gene) are the same, the organism is homozygous, otherwise, it is heterozygous for that loci.

An organism with two identical genes for a trait is said to be ______ for that trait. select one:
a. diplontic
b. heterozygous

Answers

Members of Protista kingdom contain multi-celled organisms such as kelp and single-celled organisms such as Paramecia.
Paramecia are unicellular ciliated protozoan

Answer:

The correct  answer will be Paramecium.

Explanation:

Protista is a heterogeneous group of simple eukaryotic organisms which did not arise from a single ancestral protist.

The members of protist are polyphyletic, which means they are not closely related to each other and do not share many common characters. They vary greatly in organization from single-celled to synctial to multi-cellular organisms.

The most common single-celled protista is Paramecium.

Paramecium are unicellular protist found in freshwater habitats, shaped like a sole of a shoe with short hairy structures on its body called cillia. Cillia helps in locomotion and dragging the food to its oral cavity.

Thus, Paramecium is the correct answer.

what is the difference between a sceintific theory and a scientific law

Answers

Answer:

A scientific theory is a set of concepts, a scientific law is a constant and unchanging rule and norm.

Explanation:

A scientific theory is a set of concepts, including abstractions of observable phenomena and quantifiable properties, together with rules (scientific laws) that express the relationships between observations of such concepts.  An example of this is the theory of relativity.

A scientific law is a scientific proposition that affirms a constant relationship between two or more variables or factors, each of which represents a property or measurement of specific systems.  An example of this is Newton's Laws.

Answers

The group of organisms that has the derived characteristics of true tissues, bilateral symmetry, and a pseudocoelom is the Animalia kingdom. They present all of the mentioned characteristics.

An example of a pseudocoelom is the roundworm.

The right answer is roundworms

In the scientific sense, worm refers to the primitive form of organization of the Bilaterians. The three groups of animals (roundworms, flatworms and ringed worms) have a fundamental bilateral symmetry. Their appearance, probably at the very beginning of the Cambrian (primary era), marks an important stage in the evolution of living beings. In spite of their apparent simplicity, they inaugurate a new type of anatomical organization which will then be taken over by all other animal species. The different tissues or specialized organs, come from one of the three embryonic leaves (endoderm, mesoderm and ectoderm) inaugurated by these verses.

Energy in most ecosystems must flow through autotrophs because only autotrophs can convert solar energy in chemical energy.

Explanation:

This suggests that these are organisms which are entirely based on the Greek name self-producers that can produce complex organic materials by fixing together simple building blocks in their local situation. E.g plants on land. Photosynthesis in plants transforms solar energy into chemical energy using electrons and protons from water. The method of photosynthesis in plants involves a series of steps and reactions that use solar energy, water, and carbon dioxide to produce organic aggregates and oxygen.

Can the genotype for a gray-bodied fly be determined? why or why not? describe all of the possible genotypes for a fly with that phenotype. *

Answers

Assuming that we are talking about fruit flies, then you should be able to determine this. Gray bodied flies would be the dominant and ebony bodied flies would be recessive. So, the results can only be a homozygous dominant fly (GG) or heterozygous fly (Gg). If you cross that fly with a ebony bodied fly (gg) and there is a result of some ebony bodied flies, then you know the original fly was heterozygous. If you result in all gray flies, then it was dominant.

When compared to the karyotype of a normal individual, any abnormalities in chromosomes can be identified by either noticing an abnormal number of chromosomes or pairing (aneuploidy), or regional changes within chromosomes such as shorter or longer than normal chromosomes due to translocations.

Answer:Karyotype is the image or a visual aid which present the pair and order of all the chromosome in an organism. An analyst can detect genetic disorder by comparing that karyotype with the normal person karyotype. Now he can locate the difference either in number of chromosomes or in the structure of chromosome.Through looking at karyotype he can tell number of chromosome having abnormality.

Widow's peak, a pointed hairline on the forehead, is a genetic trait caused by a dominant allele. it can be traced back through a family's history using pedigree analysis. the pedigree shown here is of three generations of a family. notice that some individuals (shown in gray) have a widow's peak (w = dominant allele and w = recessive allele). this pedigree supports the fact that widow's peak is due to a dominant allele, because if it were due to a recessive allele and both parents show the recessive phenotype, then ________.

Answers

As you can see from the pedigree presented below,  Joseph and Alice both have Widow's peak, but one of their children possesses the trait and the other doesn't. If this were a trait that was determined by a recessive allele, this would be impossible, because the two parents would possess two recessive alleles and their offspring could only get the recessive allele from them.
But because this is a trait determined by a dominant allele, an individual can have the trait, but also have offspring that do not possess the trait.

during the light dependent reaction of photosynthesis ___ is decomposed to supply hydrogen ions to produce nadph and important energy carrying molecules used to help produce glucose during the light independent reaction

Answers

Answer:

C) H20 (usatestprep)

Explanation:

H2O is decomposed to produce hydrogen ions. These ions combine with NADP to form the energy-carrying molecule, NADPH.

Water is broken down into hydroxyl and hydrogen ions, as well as oxygen, during the light reaction. This stage sees the transformation of light energy into chemical energy, which is used in the light independent reaction.

What is the role of water in light independent reaction?

When water is split, oxygen, hydrogen, and electrons are released. These electrons travel through chloroplast structures and produce ATP via chemiosmosis.

NADPH, which is used in the light-independent processes, is created from the hydrogen.

Water's function in photosynthesis is to provide the light reactions with electrons. The light reactions and the dark reactions are the two phases of photosynthesis.

Therefore, during the light dependent reaction of photosynthesis, water is decomposed to supply hydrogen ions to produce NADPH.
